Overview
Participants will learn about the different blended learning models and frameworks and how best to use digital tools in order to successfully integrate technology in the classroom. This course is designed to give participants an understanding of blended teaching and learning in order to convert past and new lessons to blended learning unit and lesson plans. Participants will learn about digital tools and how best to integrate them with their curriculum and the blended learning models and frameworks.

Expected Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:
  • Define blended learning
  • Create a lesson plan using a blended learning models and framework
  • Convert a pre-existing lesson plan to a blended learning model
  • Explain different blended learning frameworks and how to use them
  • Determine which digital tools to add to enhance lesson plans
  • Evaluate how to infuse blended learning into current teaching methods
Final Assessment
Participants will create a unit/lesson plan using the blended learning model and framework of their choice.  These lesson plans will be shared and other participants will give feedback to help them develop an optimal blended learning lesson plan.
